Day 1: Surabaya to Mount Bromo
Day 1 is all about the leisurely journey to Mount Bromo, the beginning of an eye-opening discovery of East Java’s wonders.
• Get escorted from your hotel/Juanda International Airport at around 10pm-10.30pm to the magnificent Mount Bromo, a four-hour journey that puts you at the epicentre of spectacular sceneries and lush terrains.
Day 2: Mount Bromo & Madakaripura Waterfall
A deeper dive into East Java’s wonders to capture the eclectic mix of rejuvenating landscapes coupled with unforgettable vistas of the cosmos.
• Arrive at Cemara Lawang and get onboard a one-hour private 4WD jeep-ride to Penanjakan, the best viewpoint to capture the most beautiful backdrops.
• Savour every moment of the dazzling Milky Way, the cosmos’ glorious arch specked with tiny luminous diamonds.
• Experience the gorgeous sunrise from Mount Bromo’s peak, a beautiful florid orange hue over the bleak horizon.
• Discover more picture-perfect moments at the Hill of Love, and marvel at Indonesia’s ravishing sceneries before heading to Mount Bromo's crater through the Sea of Sand.
• If you’re a thrill-seeker, jump on a horse and take a 20-minute gallop towards the smouldering crater. Finish the last leg of the journey with a 15-minute flight of steps towards the fiery caldera.
• Visit the legendary Madakaripura Waterfall, a grand enchantment for those ravenous for historical experience.*
Itinerary is subject to changes depending on the environmental conditions. Should there be any changes, our experienced guide will update you at the soonest. We’d prefer to stick closely to the itinerary if possible.
*Price of the tour does not include the entrance and motorbike fee of around SGD25 unless you’ve paid through our booking option. We will drop you off at your preferred airport, hotel or train station in Surabaya by 1pm if you’re skipping the waterfall, or 4pm, if you’re visiting the waterfall.
Option to convert into a day tour
Get an immersive experience by transforming this tour into a full-day adventure. Begin your journey at 8am to Mount Bromo with lunch en-route. Enjoy the striking view of the magnificent Mount Bromo and grand Madakaripura Waterfall (optional) before returning to the hotel by 8pm.

- Warm jacket, face mask, tracking shoes or any shoes with good grip. Temperatures range from 5 to 22 degress Celcius from 2am – 10am in the mountains.

Milky Way Tour
Milky Way may not be visible to the naked eye if you go during the full moon or when moonlight is present near the Galactic core. However, it is still possible to photograph the Milky Way during the full moon as shown in the below image if you're an experienced astrophotographer. DSLR or compact camera or smartphone like Huawei P30 Pro is recommended to photograph the Milky Way if moonlight is not present.
